Novo-Ogaryovo, Moscow region - Rosoboronexport received an invitation from the French side to visit France for the transfer of the first Mistral ship to the Russian side, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said

“Rosoboronexport received an invitation to come to Saint-Nazaire on November 14, for the transfer of the first ship, Vladivostok, to Russia and the launch of the second ship,” Rogozin told journalists.

Technically, the execution of the Mistral contract is on schedule and the Russian side proceeds from the fact that France will fulfill its obligations, he said, noting that the final decision is for French President Francois Hollande to make.

“From the point of view of the technical execution of the contract everything is on schedule and we proceed from this fact. As to political decisions, we proceed from the fact that France should protect its reputation as a secure partner itself, including in the military and technological cooperation sphere,” Rogozin said.
