ODESA – Recruitment of detectives for the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine will end in two weeks, Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko has said.

“I’m sure that the country expecting reforms accepts a reformed police and a modernized, reinforced, reborn Ukrainian army. I’m sure that the Anti-Corruption Bureau will be formed via reforms. It two weeks the recruitment of detectives [for the Bureau] will end,” he said at a press conference in Odesa on Aug. 25.

He also said that a modernized prosecutor’s office will formed shortly on the basis of the bureau. Prosecutors will be recruited from local offices.
