You're reading: Kyiv, Jerusalem mayors discuss experience exchange

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko met in Israel with Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Israel Faina Kirschenbaum, according to the press office of the mayor of the Ukrainian capital city.

“We believe the introduction of new technologies, including in urban management, the organization of the security system, educational and political projects are of interest for the cooperation between the two cities,” Klitschko said during a meeting with the mayor of Jerusalem.

In turn, Barkat noted the great potential for cooperation with Kyiv, in particular, the introduction of Israeli technology and the exchange of experience in the field of medicine, training and internships for Kyiv managers, and cooperation in tourism.

With Israel’s deputy interior minister, Kyiv mayor discussed the internal situation in Ukraine, as well as the Israeli experience of security systems organization.
