In total we are planning to harvest 1.4 million tonnes of grain, this will be 27 percent more than last year,” Polishchuk said at a meeting of the Crimean Council of Ministers in Simferopol on Aug. 4.

The minister also said that the harvest campaign in Crimea is 96 percent complete, more than half of the harvest of grain is wheat, and it amounts to 800,000 tonnes.
