The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, whose former head Ihor Shevchenko was dismissed on July 2, has fulfilled a mere 4 percent (three out of 75) of the tasks mandated under the government program, meaning the ministry is the worst in terms of implementation.

This is according to a separate section of the government portal, program.kmu.gov.ua, which is dedicated to the state of implementation of the program of the Cabinet of Ministers, the launch of which was announced by the prime minister on Friday, Aug. 28.

According to the data, the Ecology Ministry is followed by the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry with 15 percent (13 out of 88), and the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food with 17 percent (12 out of 72).

The next five worst are the Foreign Ministry with 23 percent (13 out of 56), the Ministry of Infrastructure with 25 percent (13 of 53), the Economic Development and Trade Ministry with 26 percent (61 of 234), as well as the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Culture with 27 percent each (21 out of 78 and 12 out of 44 respectively).

According to the methodology used by the cabinet, the best ministries are the Ministry of Justice with 63 percent (52 of 83) and the Ministry of Social Policy with 56 percent (36 of 64).

They are followed by the Interior Ministry, the Finance Ministry, the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Services, and the Ministry of Defense, with figures ranging between 44 percent and 41 percent.
