Rinat Akhmetov, Hennadiy Boholiubov and Ihor Kolomoisky top the list of 100 richest Ukrainians, with a net worth of $10.1 billion, $2.6 billion and $2.3 billion, respectively, according to the Novoye Vremya (New Times) magazine, which is publishing the list for first time. 

According to the rating, the assets of Akhmetov, the sole shareholder of the largest Ukrainian holding company SCM (Donetsk) have lost 45% in value over the year, while Boholiubov and Kolomoisky, partners in Privat Group (Dnipropetrovsk), saw the value of their assets drop by 33% for each.

EastOne owner Victor Pinchuk has ranked fourth with $1.9 billion; Smart-holding owner Vadim Novinsky is at the fifth place with $1.8 billion. Both had their assets valued 37% and 38% lower than in 2013, respectively.

Next is Dmytro Firtash (Group DF), whose net worth, according to the magazine, has dropped by 37% to $1.4 billion; businessman Oleksiy Martynov, one of Privat Group co-owners, ranked seventh with $905 million (down 32% from 2013).

Closing the top ten are three representatives of the agrarian business and food industry who have not escaped losses either: MHP founder Yuriy Kosiuk with $837 million (down 23%); Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko, who owns Roshen Corporation, with $816 million (down 22%); and Oleh Bakhmatiuk, the main beneficiary at Ukrlandfarming, with $804 million (down 41%).

The assets of Serhiy Kurchenko, the owner of East European Energy Company (VETEK), lost 89% in value over the year, having dropped to $266 million. He is followed by Mykola Lahun (down 79%, $117 million) and Oleksandr Yanukovych (down 78%, $79 million).
