There are no outstanding issues between Ukraine and Belarus which is the evidence of a mature partnership between the two countries, Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei has said.

“I have to admit, there are no unresolved issues between our countries, we have always managed to find a mutually acceptable solution to some difficult questions which arose. Therefore today we can safely speak of a mature partnership that exists between our countries,” he said during the opening ceremony of the residential complex of the Belarusian Embassy in Ukraine and the ambassador’s residence in Kyiv on Friday.

Makei noted that the two countries are united not only by more than a thousand kilometers of common border but also by common history, the development of family and interpersonal relations, as well as economic contacts.
