As many as 8.4 percent of those polled said they would cross out all candidates and would spoil the ballot paper, 19.1 percent refused to take part in the elections, and 27.3 percent of respondents were undecided.

The KIIS public opinion survey was intended to assess citizens’ opinions concerning the president’s recent measures, the appointment of Ukraine’s prosecutor general, the situation surrounding the ‘offshore scandal’, as well as the current electoral rating leaders.

The poll involved 2,039 people aged 18 and above living in 110 towns and villages in all of Ukraine’s regions. In Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts, the poll was conducted only in territories controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
