You're reading: Ukraine’s GDP grows by 2% in Q4 2015

The Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine assessed growth of Ukraine's GDP in the fourth quarter of 2015 at 2% from a year ago.

“If in the first quarter [of 2015] GDP fell by 17.2%, in the fourth quarter we expect that growth will be 2%,” Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister Yulia Kovaliv said at a meeting of the parliamentary committee for economic policy in Kyiv on Wednesday.

As reported, the National Bank of Ukraine on February 8, 2016 assessed Ukraine’s GDP fall at 3.2% in the fourth quarter of 2015 year-over-year.
