Ukraine's Ministry of Finance, after the launch of the E-Data project on the publicly available information of the State Treasury Service and all the expenditures of central and local authorities in 2015, intends to move to the implementation of a more large-scale project "Transparent Budget" aimed at improving the efficiency of budget processes, Deputy Minister of Finance Oksana Markarova has said.

“The main idea is to have an integrated system for decision-making, monitoring, creating and executing the budget, managing liquidity at a daily, every minute level,” she said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

Markarova clarified that at present the finance authority has a very limited range of instruments, which the government uses to manage own liquidity.

“As a result, today the Ministry of Finance is a very conditional player in the financial market, although it has a lot of money,” the deputy minister noted.

She noted that the matter concerns the creation of a complete analytical system on the basis of the Ministry of Finance, where all the data will flow, will be standardized, processed and stored, and their small part will be posted on the portal of using public funds.
