The institution of state secretary in Ukraine will be introduced as early as in autumn, deputy head of the presidential administration Dmytro Shymkiv told Channel 5 on Tuesday evening.

A selection commission is being formed now and the selection of candidates will begin, he said.

Shymkiv recalled that the new law on the state service was passed more than a year ago and came into force on May 1.
