You're reading: Shareholders in JKX fail to pass major meeting agenda issues on June 28

Shareholders in JKX Oil&Gas Plc failed to pass nine out of 11 issues put to the agenda of the general meeting held on June 28, the company has reported on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

“It is noted that the main shareholder voting against these resolutions was Eclairs Group Limited, the owner of 47, 287,027 shares (under control of Ihor Kolomoisky and Hennadiy Boholiubov),” the company said.

The JKX board will continue to assess the implications of these votes and will consult with shareholders.

JKX Oil&Gas Plc owns Poltava Petroleum Company in Ukraine.

The largest shareholders of the company are Eclairs Group of Ihor Kolomoisky and Hennadiy Boholiubov with 27.54% of the shares, Glengary Overseas Limited of Oleksandr Zhukov with 11.45% of the shares. In addition, Russia’s Proxima Capital Group owns 19.92% of JKX.
