Russia authorities attempt to discredit the work of the subgroups working within Trilateral Contact Group standing for peace in Donbas since Ukrainian envoys tell the truth to the world on Kremlin's destructive position, Ukraine's envoy in humanitarian subgroup Iryna Gerashchenko said.

“And I must tell all critics that Moscow is longing the most to discredit work of the subgroups and to break them down. At least, because we use any possible opportunity to tell the world about a destructive position of Kremlin. So we’re moving in a right direction,” first parliamentary deputy speaker wrote on her Facebook account on May 6.

She said that the work of four Minsk subgroups started a year ago and for this period of time “dozens of flights to Belarusian capital have been made, super-heavy exhausting negotiations have been held.”

Gerashchenko thanked to the members of the Ukrainian delegation, who presented the country in Minsk, for experience she has got, and expressed a gratitude to media for covering Minsk issues.

Trilateral Contact Group includes humanitarian, political, economic and security subgroups.
