You're reading: OSCE Parliamentary Assembly session adopts ‘Tbilisi Declaration’

TBILISI - The final document of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's session in the Georgian capital city, 'The Tbilisi Declaration', was adopted on July 5 to cover the Ukraine crisis, the protracted conflicts in Georgia, the fight against terrorism and corruption, energy issues, climate change, migration and refugees' rights.

The session also approved 15 resolutions pertaining to the prevention of sexual exploitation of children, confidence building measures for the Baltic Sea region, Crimea, and unhampered access of Assembly members to OSCE events, the Georgian parliament press service said.

A new president of the organization is now being elected at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s session.
