The National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) has approved the full-scale launch of the e-declaration system from September 1, 2016.

A corresponding decision was taken at an NAPC meeting in Kyiv on August 31, according to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent.

“[A decision has been taken] to launch the full-scale operation of the information and telecoms system ‘National State Register of Income Declarations of Central and Local Government Officials’ from 00:00 on September 1, 2016,” NAPC head Natalia Korchak said at a briefing in Kyiv on August 31.

According to her, the register will store data from officials’ declarations starting from this year, and those officials who are to submit their asset statements in the first turn should do this within 60 days.

Prior to the NAPC meeting, the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection had provided the agency with a certificate of compliance issued for the integrated information protection system of the e-declaration register.
