Yuzgas B.V. (the Netherlands), which won the tender for an investor in a production sharing agreement (PSA) for hydrocarbons extraction on Yuzivska deposit (Donetsk and Kharkiv region), has attracted Schlumberger international company as a technical partner, Nadra Yuzivska Director Viktor Nazarkevych has said.

“In case a PSA is signed, Schlumberger will deal with the technical aspects of control over work on the site,” he said at a press conference in Kyiv.

Nazarkevych said traditionally in such PSAs the winner creates project companies.

“A project company has been created here as well. In terms of technical aspects Yuzgas is going along with Schlumberger. I think nobody needs to be told what kind of company it is,” he said.

Schlumberger Limited is one of the world’s leading technology providers for comprehensive formation evaluation, construction of wells, production management and processing of hydrocarbons.
