Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman congratulated Ukrainian military pilot and parliamentarian Nadia Savchenko on returning home.
“Nadia Savchenko is back to Ukraine! I sincerely congratulate her and rejoice together with all of our country!” Groysman said on Facebook on May 25.
Nadia Savchenko’s mother, Maria Savchenko, has already talked to her daughter, Olena Shkrum, a member of the Batkivschyna parliamentary faction, said.
“Nadia’s mom has just talked to her daughter. Nada is already on Ukrainian soil!” Shkrum said on Twitter.
Several minutes before, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko had announced that an aircraft carrying Savchenko had landed in Ukraine.
