You're reading: Bogdan Corporation supplies five trolleybuses to Odesa ahead of schedule

The automobile assembly plant in Lutsk, part of the Bogdan Corporation, has fulfilled a contract with municipal enterprise Odesamiskeletrotrans to supply five Bogdan low-deck trolleybuses worth Hr 26.55 million signed on May 26 ahead of schedule.

The corporation said in a press release on Thursday, referring to the director of the plant Mykola Dzhula, the contract had the term until the end of 2016, but the company managed to finish it ahead of the term set.

“Today the production facilities of the company are not fully loaded. We managed to pass the trolleybuses to the customer ahead of the term,” Dzhula said.

He recalled that the plant started batch production of school buses meeting Euro 5 emission standards. The plant will be loaded.

This year the plant preliminarily seeks to make over 100 trolleybuses.

Public joint-stock company Bogdan Motors unites industrial assets of a leading Ukrainian automobile manufacturer – Bogdan Corporation.

The company has two modern vehicle production plants – one in Cherkasy with a capacity of 120,000-150,000 cars and one in Lutsk with a capacity of 6,000 buses and trolleybuses.
