Silver medal winner of the men’s individual all-around of the Olympics 2016 Ukrainian artistic gymnast Oleg Verniaiev has won a first gold medal for Ukraine in the men's parallel bars in Rio, Brazil.
On Tuesday Verniaiev showed the result of 16.041 (7.100 for difficulty and 8.941 for performace). U.S. gymnast Danell Leyva won silver (15.900) and Russian David Belyavskiy bronze.
Ukraine today has one gold medal, four silver and one bronze medals. The Ukrainian team is now 32nd in the unofficial medal tally.
