GENEVA - The United States and Russia have settled most of the details concerning steps to resume the cessation of hostilities in Syria, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said at a press conference following negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Geneva.

“We have a few narrow issues to resolve, and in the next days our experts will be meeting here in Geneva to conclude the remaining technical issues,” Kerry said at a joint press conference with Lavrov.

“Today, I can say that we achieved clarity on the path forward. We have completed the vast majority of those technical discussions, which were primarily focused on making this cessation real,” Kerry said.
