Ukrainian political prisoner Oleh Sentsov, who was sentenced by the Russian authorities to 20 years in high-security penitentiary, has been convoyed to Yakutia, lawyer of Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko, Mark Feygin, said.

“It was reported that Sentsov wasn’t brought to Irkutsk, but further – to Yakutia,” Feygin wrote on his Twitter account.

As reported, on August 25, 2015, the North Caucasus District Military Court sentenced Sentsov to 20 years in high-security penitentiary for “preparing terror attacks in Crimea”.

Ukraine insists case is political.
