The representatives of Public Prosecution Office of Kyiv City in cooperation with the employees of Security Service of Ukraine conduct investigation at Boryspil International Airport State Enterprise related to delivery of explosives detectors by the successful bidder, Project Technical Center Ltd.
The acquisition of such equipment was caused by the
necessity of aviation security provision and constant enhancement of its level,
taking into account today’s both internal and external threats for the airport.
For this purpose, according to the current legislation, regulating the
procedure of state procurement, Boryspil International Airport State Enterprise
announced open tender for delivery of the relevant equipment, where Project
Technical Center Ltd. was determined as successful bidder with the most
cost-effective bid.
Currently, Boryspil Airport management is facilitating
the investigation, providing it with all the necessary documents and calling
for mass media representatives to provide impartial, reliable information and
to retain from unconfirmed accusatory statements against the enterprise.
